I call her my “Health Guru” because she has a natural gift to heal. She’s improved my quality of life tremendously but she is also an incredible teacher.

One on One with Dr. Oz

He is the man behind the curtain who lights up the stage. I got a back stage pass to follow Dr. Mehmet Oz as he prepares for his new season. A new set and tapings twice a day three days a week at his studio at the NBC Towers in NYC. “I’m excited, it’s important to talk to people about what’s going on in their lives,” says Oz.
It’s organized chaos getting the show ready as the good Doctor rehearses in his scrubs. Today’s big segment is 750 pound Suzanne Enman . Her goal to be the fattest woman in the world. “I hope her story awakens others to the reality they shouldn’t tolerate obesity in life,” says Oz.

Casey Anthony Trial

I spent the past month covering this trial. Watching the lawyers present their cases, listening to evidence and testimony presented, glued to every detail and word. For weeks I have had attorneys on my Fox29 5pm news show analyzing every move of the prosecution and defense. It’s been fascinating to watch. It’s been interesting to cover and it took me back to the OJ trial that just like this gripped the nation.
